MY WORLD
My world is an obelisk. Incising
The sky and marking as monuments do
The era of my life
My world is a cedar in Lebanon. I
Watched the Phoenicians come and go
In the drift of my life.
My Seven Wonders of the World complete
The base and side of my pyramid
I mind project the world kaleidoscopically;
Each spin of the axis turns my view
I am the measure of it all Cosmo- politically;
It contains all that I ever knew
