Alien emotions

Racing throuh my head

Tangling all my feelings

Filling me with dread

I've never felt this way before

And never will again

Out of all the feelings

One remains unseen

Fear is what I cannot find

And yet is what death brings

I die today, that's final

Nothing will get in my way

And even as I'm thinking this

I still can hear you say...

"Even though I'm leaving you

We'll never be apart

For if you only think of me,

I shall be in your heart"

You said those words the day before

I sat and watched you die

And as I sat there in that room

I thought they were a lie

But I know we'll never be apart

If I can still think of you

But I am still following

So we can start anew
