waiting, eyes closed

tentative,hoping, praying,

fearing youll see

how much youve become

how much you mean to me

how your smile gives me wings

to face a hundred woes

how your laugh makes me willing

to face a thousand foes

I love you so much

these feelings tear me apart

but how can i tell you

where can i start

the piano plays

I sway

you smirk

and it makes my day

I want you to take my hand

lead me through the steps

teach me how to dance

and then go on and never end

but your eyes will open

and then youll see

who i truly am

the definition of me

i cant let that happen

i cant let you know

so ill forget my heart for now

and let your hand go
