it tastes like copper pennys and rust

or perhaps just lemon juice

smells of blood and dust

threads that have to long been loose

thorns venom and ice

rotting like a cavity filled tooth

as you smile and pretend to be nice

when you really want to tell the truth

a cancerous tumor

slowly eating your insides

its a fatal disease

a bloodsucking parasite

its like drinking a poisonous brew

and waiting for ones enemy to die

sitting to fume and stew

without ever wondering why
