Another drop is falling

Fresh and unexpected again.

My heart is calling

And you'll be breaking it once again.



What could have been is washed away

But I'm still drowning in you.

What could have been is down the drain

And you're all I'm hanging on to.



Time isn't letting me let go

So I'm doing that on my own.

Time has let you let go

And you've moved on alone.



My love for you is only water

So slowly it goes down the drain.

And all I ever were to you was a drip drop

And all you ever were to me was my many drops of pain.
