All my life Ive been pushed around,
made decisons to hepl you off the ground,

But yet I cant help but think,
Will you be there when Im down left without a thing,

Family lost but not a tear will drop,
For when I have pleaded but they never stopped,

I have lost my heart and my mind trying to find,
A love that was lost a time ago,
how can u know when theres no one there to let you know,

Now Im writing poems about broken dreams,
But please dont judge me cuz what you fail to see,

The way you bleed and hurts the same as me,
I gave up once to see how it would go,

Please just listen im about to let you know,
How the world has came an how fast it goes,

You may never see ones pain by looking in her eyes,
Never see her dreams or all her sleepless nights,

Wont see the way her dad used to beat her mom,
or when her brother died how it broke her home,

The days she used to sell dope,
Just to feed her family cuz dad was a joke,

See her smile can be real deciving,
Cuz u cant see the hurt between it,

I guess what im trying to tell you is,
A book judged by its cover is based on one who reads past one chapter,

Its never all happiness and filled with laughter,
Just keep on reading and find what comes after,

So before you judge the cover you should read the book,
Open it up and take a look,

Not all you see is what you get,
theres times you read and youll find regret,

Every time you read my book open up and take a look,
This here cover dont tell the book.....
