Hiding In Grasshopping Darkness

  Hiding In Grasshopping Darkness

Why do you

Leave your eyes here and there

To write the death

Of my ageless myth. Where do you dance

Your butterfly sighs for nothing

I never go back to the cemetery

Where millions of bees

Cluster to form the endless human chain

And I just fail to scream in your eyes

Of orgasmic poetry.

But the human chain breaks

In metaphors and you

Never rejoin the chorus of mythical birds

That fall in silences of eternity

The butterfly never dies

To atone for the unforeseen sin,

The ruins - of your sighing eyes

Collapse in verbatim soliloquy - you breathe

In pulses of stoking fire that has long been

Frozen in ice cubes of unforeseen love and hate.

Why do you

Chase me here for nothing

To look for the caverns

Where you have lost your chastity, I have

Known the truth of death

To die in your butterfly sigh. So,

What is it that

That hides you in a grasshopping darkness,

What is that that discovers you?

Author's Notes/Comments:

I generally write surreal poetry. This is one of sorts. Read and enjoy. And tell others how do you like it.
