It was just a dream!
A light flickers on
It flashes like a bright star.
It seems to beckon to me, so I reach out.
The light begins to move farther away
It wants me to follow so I do
I begin to bask in its warm glow
In an instant, my coat starts to fall off.
-The light fades away as I slip into darkness.
My eyes pop open to sunshine and singing birds.
I'm still alive. It was just a dream!
