look at me with stolen eyes

seeing only what truly lies within this sacred soul



embrace what is left of my broken body

and breathe your beautiful life into me



so I may awaken, if only once more

just to set myself free



there is an indescribable longing in my soul

I feel it in my bones...my heart...it stops my breath



I die for you a little each day

tears may linger on these pale cheeks

but it's all that I have to prove that I'm alive



I yearn for the day that I'll see your face

I imagine my frail heart will cease



but only for a moment

for you are the reason it beats at all



you are God's most beautiful creature

and I crave to kiss your perfect lips

making us one...if only for a moment



all that I am, and all that I'll ever be belongs to you

and life will remain empty and cold

until our souls collide...and I am forever yours
