A hero is
Anyone here, anyone there
No one knows, no one cares
He is nothing, she’s not here
Only known to people dear
A hero is
An ordinary person like you or I
Just keeping secret, being shy
In case it comes out as a boast
As if to say they’re better than most
A hero is
Someone who takes risks for the needy
Even if it’s not so easy
They help others when they can
Not having it in their plan
So thank the heroes for their care
If not for them life would seem unfair
A hero is a job that doesn’t get a pay
For all you know you walk past them everyday.
