Those that came before us whisper from the past,
Look to the future these things will never last,
keep the ship afloat with knowledge as the mast,
think abstract and slow down dont live too fast,

Malcolm X says "Dont forget or you doomed to repeat".
Harriet Tubman says "Tell the children to never retreat".
Dr. King says " Every rrace needs to get up and move their feet".
Rosa Parks says " Here when youre tired take the front seat".

The ancestors live in my mind still,
I bring this message usin God given skill,
From here to the people on capitol hill,
Act now because time wont stand still.
