Alienation

Watch out now,

The boys are reloading,

I can hear your voices,

My head's exploding,

I can feel my sanity eroding,

Empathy for the boys, unnerving.

No one is innocent; we're all sluts,

You'll never be complacent.

Alienation.

Percieve these events,

As no one intends,

Greek heroes wore black cloaks,

Achieved the same valiant ends,

Infamy is immortality,

Infamy is immortality.

Things look different,

In different lights,

Maybe I'm wrong,

Maybe I'm right,

Maybe they had a right,

Maybe they had a right!

Kill your indoctrinators,

Kill your peers,

Kill your inhibitions,

Kill your fears,

Kill me,

Kill yourselves,

Kill your heaven,

Kill your hell.

I can see the bloodstains,

Work to mend,

Wounds unseen,

By the eyes of men.

Alienation.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This song goes out to Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. In 200 years, some future Shakespeare will portray them in a positive way and the public will view them as tragic heroes, as I do now.
