My mother´s watch
My mother has had this old watch since I was born, she doesn’t wear it that often, she rather just use it in important occasions. Sometimes not even in important occasions because it is raining or she just thinks the watch might get dirty. My mom takes care of this watch too much; she loves it, whenever she takes it out of her risk she always cleans it, if the watch has a scratch on it she takes it out, if it doesn´t work my mom takes it to a watchmaker and makes sure that the watch is fix. My mom aint no watch lover or anything like that, but the thing that she likes about that watch is that her mother gave it to her; this old watch has been through many things my mom always said, also my grandmother told her that this watch has always brought good luck to her, sometimes my mother thinks is true, even though she doesn´t believes in that kind of stuff. This watch has always been around, when my mother doesn´t wears it; it is always sitting on her desk beside this huge lamp, she of course doesn´t let me or anyone else near that old shinning watch. That watch means so much to my mom that she takes care more of that watch than her own family, I don´t blame her, I blame the watch, because actually it is a fancy watch, it has this silver chain that reflects the light in your eyes, also it has a thin glass so clean that reflects things like a mirror. My mom is always aware of where she puts the watch when she is not wearing it but there was once she didn´t find that watch she was really sad because she couldn´t find it, the whole family spent one afternoon searching for the watch but nothing, it was a sad day for my mom, until one friend called her and told her that she forgot it in her car. That was such a relief for my mother, after that day even though I find it quite impossible my mother started to take care of the watch even more than she did before. My mother loves that watch she is always happy when she wears it; it makes her a happier person, I don´t believe it is because it’s a fancy watch I think is because she remembers her mother when she uses it.
