I know you need a friend right now

so that is what I am being...a friend

But I feel like you're holding something in

You know you can trust me

You know you can tell me the truth

I wish you would tell me how you really feel

you know I will stand by and help you out

I want to do more

but I know, I must let you deal with this in your own way

all I can do is be there for you

and hope you are alright

remember that I am always here

I can be your shoulder to cry on

or just your friend

who is there to comfort you

or listen to your problems

remember I love you and will never stop
