The Message Song



There's a little girl I love so,

I went to her house nobody home.

I been missin my girl so much,

I don't think she even knows.



Daddy wants me to leave a message,

Oh Lord, its hard for me to do.

But if I did I'd love to tell her,

Hey sweetie, I'm missin my lovin you.



Her daddy might take it the wrong way,

And thats not what I need right now.

Her mama might mistake words I say,

Oh man, I got some problems...........wow..........

We had a date late last night,

And this morning she was gone.

And I guess it would be alright,

If I knew when she was gonna be home.



Getting tired of calling...no answer,

That ain't no fun.

But guess its not that bigga deal,

Cause she don't do me wrong.

To get her on the phone now and then.

But you know when we get together,

I forget that whole phone thing, uh huh...
