A walk in the darkness, so cold and weary..

My heart became intent with the sound of sadness..

I looked for a spot to rest my head..

Threw all the heart-ache I felt dead..

He looked deep into my soul and said "It will be alright."

Looking back I saw no trace of hope..

I could'nt find him, where could he be..

I saw far and wide, there was only me.

Fighting for life he pulled me away..

He told me, "my child you will see another day."

Thank you and there he strayed..

My heart felt lonesome or so I must say.

Day and night I search for him..

Looking back I remember the place.

Of which I saw an image of his face.

When all hope was lost I began to pray.

Please help me find my way..

A heart so strong and pure.

Gave me the strength that I can only endure.

Fighting the fears, I look for hope.

Trying to hide the tears on my face..

You shine as bright as morning grace.
