In my dreams I see your face
It takes me to that special place.
The place where you and I are one.
The place where our life together has begun.
In my dreams I hear your voice
The sound of it always makes me rejoice
In excitement from the words you say
Will you tell me that you love me today?
In my dreams I feel your heart
And know it is the missing part
Of my life and of my soul
It is only your love that I behold.
In my dreams I sense your smell
In your arms is where I am held.
My head laid in your arm’s crook
When you said “I love you”
The whole Earth shook.
In my dreams you will always be
Until the day that “You” and “I”
Become “We”.
