There was a time when my heart was cold, 

Didn't have any emotions,just stayed bold. 

Neither loved anyone nor ever tried,

I didn't even remember the last time I cried. 

One fine day you came like a warm wind, 

And I felt the warmth deep down inside. 

I talked endlessly to you my new friend,

I didn't even know how time flied. 

The time had come when you had to leave,

I remember that you said you felt numb. 

To be honest my heart was filled with grief,

After that my eyes were moist and heart succumbed. 

I still don't know why I was attached to you, 

Though we never knew each other. 

I still don't know why I wanted to meet again, 

Though I knew we won't meet each other. 

Time flied ,seasons changed,

And many new people came.

Times of mirth and grief had passed, 

And I was left alone at last. 

When I stayed hopeless and defeated,

You came again for my rescue.

You were unaware of how I used to feel, 

But unknowingly you made me heal. 

I try my best to express my gratitude,

For the support which you have provided.

But may be you were sent to me again,

Because the creator didn't want me to drain. 

I really enjoy my time with you, 

I had just forgoten how to laugh.

Now when you are by my side my friend,

I tackle situations with smile even if it's tough.
