Young Donald made his lemonade
And sold it every day
To all the thirsty passers-by
And they’d bend down and say:
“Just take a look at this young man
He wants to make a buck
He’s quite the little entrepreneur
I wish him lots of luck”
Then Donald made a partnership
With Bobby down the street
They set up a stand
A table covered with a sheet
Bobby made the lemonade
And Donald sold the stuff
They made a pretty penny
But it was not enough
Then Donald turned to Bobby
And he frowned a weighty frown
He sighed and said “Bobby
Our profits have gone down
You've taken fifty percent
But little Jimmy Clive
Is willing to do all your work
For only thirty-five
You’ve been working slowly
Doing less than is required
And so I have to tell you
That I’m sorry, but you’re fired”
A sad little tear
Welled up in Bobby’s eye
But Donald turned away
He didn’t even say goodbye
And all the passing people
Saw that greedy little pig
But all they did was smile and say:
“He’s gonna make it big”
