You play games and think you're smart

Don't know you can't fool the heart

It can recognize right from the start

The one to whom it is a part



Even if the eyes are blind

The heart can always find

One to whom our love does bind

As our hearts have been aligned



You come wearing a disguise

Forgetting that the heart is wise

And sees through your wicked lies

For it sees you with lover's eyes  



So go ahead and play your game

My heart always knows your name

On me you want to place the shame

But onto you falls all the blame



You thought that I could be untrue

But while you played I always knew

The one disguised was really you

Now it is over and we are through
