It was a warm, happy day where everything was good and abundant. The world was inhabited by only one species, since after all the years that had passed the rest of the species were extinct. The perfect world as they knew it, is led by the Grand Squirrel, who spread all the goods equally among the entire squirrel population. The squirrels thought that the Grand Squirrel was the wisest among them and that there was not a single negative and selfish thought going through his head. As the days went by, it seemed that nothing bad could happen to the rest of the squirrels and that everything was under control. The squirrels trusted the Grand Squirrel as if he was a god. Until one day, something catastrophic happened in the world. All sorts of natural disasters started to happen, from earthquakes to tornadoes struck the land the squirrels lived in. The Grand Squirrel, who did not have selfish thoughts, went to the center of the earth to see what was happening in order to fix it so everyone could stay safe. The days went by and the Grand Squirrel never came back. After several years of disaster, peace and control were restored because another squirrel took the place of the missing Grand Squirrel. He followed the same rules that the original Grand Squirrel followed. What the other squirrels did not know, is that the new Grand Squirrel had selfish thoughts going through his head. The population thought that since he became the new Grand Squirrel, he was going to be as honest and caring as the original Grand Squirrel, so they also trusted him plentifully. But what the population forgot, is that the new Grand Squirrel was one of them at a certain point. The new Grand Squirrel spread all the goods equally just as the original Grand Squirrel, but the population never noticed that he was giving them less and less every time, since he still spread everything equally. One day, one squirrel discovers that the Grand Squirrel had more food and goods than all the other squirrels. This squirrel told a bunch of other squirrels about the Grand Squirrel’s lies and they stopped trusting the Grand Squirrel. After the entire squirrel population found out about this, they all stopped trusting the Grand Squirrel and even stopped trusting each other, causing them to split into groups, each led by a squirrel. Each squirrel had its own way of leading their group, one of them was chosen among the rest of its group and now leads them based on what the group wants. Another squirrel self proclaimed himself the leader of his group, and made the rest of the squirrels obey his orders. After the entire squirrel population was divided into different groups, they got into fights among the groups and the leaders, causing the end of peace around the world and the end of life as they knew it. They continued to live for several years, until the original Major Squirrel came back from the center of the Earth, only to find the world he left, completely changed for the worst because of selfish thoughts.
