simple child am I

eyes shut

and face toward the sun

the warmth so wanted

a shelter from shadows

I drink and i drink

Until my heart is aglow

I am now over flowing

With light and with warmth

It flows out from me

and into the world

Through cracks in the walls

Finding the cold

Warming the lost

Flee from the shadows

And look for your sun

May its taste be as sweet

And your tongue be as dry
