Hidden Consequences
things left unsaid can burn a hole
through what ever may be your goal
they can burn like a brand
or freeze like ice right in your hand
scorch like fire, or quench a fight
sometimes letting things lie is right
but which course to choose, a quandry now
either way the actions may be harder to allow
to go through, to stay with, to set aside
and maybe even try to hide
even inaction breeds it's consequence
for everything must have recompense
