A day's just a day

Then it goes away

Only so much time on the clock

It'll never ever stop

Not today...

Until I talk to you

Every second means another chance

To be in love with our romance

And I wish we had forever in a day...

Because then I wouldn't be missing you today



I wake in the morning and think of you

Of what you will do, and if you're doing OK

That's the first thought of every day

I look around, you are not there

I swear I see you every where

But I know its just a couple days

Till I'll be with you again

You are only a phone call away

And you're less than a day away

I wish I could leave today...



A week goes by, I miss you more

Every other second ticks by

I wish you were at my door

I'd pick you up and kiss you softly

Make you stay forever

And I'd hold you tightly

And I wish we had forever in a day...

Because then I wouldn't be missing you today



If you were here

I know I'd be right near

Touch your skin every chance I get

So that I may never regret

Every second I forgot to try

...To hold you tight

...To sleep with you throughout the night



You're far away with out me

But I'm still happy with your memory

And I hope you're happy, too

With all the things you have going for you

You're loving family and your enjoyable job



I hope time will pass so fast

You forget about the days that have already passed

I'll get to see you sooner then

I'll hold you the tightest ever when

School starts and we have only hours apart

I hope our love will only be stronger then

I'll still be your best guy friend
