Sixty four

A million words

What's left to write?

A million stars

Are out tonight

When hearts grow cold

Where are you?

I'm growing old

And so are you

Sixty four lines

Only a few about me

The way things were

The way they used to be

Before you and I moved

So far away

Just have one thing to ask you

Where are you today?

I said where are you...today?

Nothing new

Secrets you've learned to keep

I'm telling stories

Like walking down your street

We were alive

So fresh and new

I don't think I even know you anymore

Keep on writing, never stop

Keep on painting, never give up

You know you're good

I know it too

I have a painting

Made just by you

I have a painting

Saying everything about you

Everything

you couldnt say

Stays bottled up

There it will stay

For many years

Until one day

When you decide to write it down

And sixty four lines will forever be left behind
