Summer's come and gone

Time flys by

I've gone away

I never said "Goodbye"

I hate to think about the past

Everything we did

It was stupid...there I said it

It was stupid



College is around the corner

About a week away

I don't know where I'm going

Nor where I'm gonna stay

They say people always change

Well I think they're right

I'm gonna change again

I'm gonna make my life

Better for me...

In the interest of what I want to be



I hate to break it down slow

I have no where else to go

I'll give it to you a line at a time

And I think I'll make it all rhyme

You said you'll always love me

But what about the day I change...

Will you stay the same?

You know it true

I love you...

But it's time for me to go on my way



Grow up, show up

Live a day at a time

I don't know what I'm doing

I'm just making up rhymes

One thing is for sure

I'm gonna change

I get so sick of stayin the same

I think I'll go insane



Just a day at a time

I think that's what I'll do...

But I'll still come back someday for you
