I gave it all

I turned around, walked out that door

Started to fall, and I knew that you wanted more

So I looked back

Just to say I'm sorry for

All the hurt, I will not give you pain no more



Run away, I know that you miss me

Come to me, run your mouth and then you can just slap me

I screwed it up, all the future that we had in store

A slight look back, and you know that I loved you more



Gave it all for just a bit of happiness

Look at me, standing in the middle of all this mess

I made it all, time to fall, I failed you once again

Come around, be with me now, make my heart start to beat again



Give me peace for all those words

We say we mean them and then forget

To be what we once knew that we could be

Together forever was the promise you made for me



Happy endings, they were wrong

I went along here in the end

Angry words can still be heard

laying naked in the middle of my bedroom floor

We call it quits and said it would only be for a bit



Two years later

And I'm still waiting to start my broken heart once again
