Plain Old ME

Time goes by

It runs away

Ticking and ticking

To another boring day

Life goes on

But I stay here

I wouldn’t have any place to go

If you weren’t near

You know that I don’t lie

I don’t run

I wont cry

Just as long as you stay near

And whisper sweet nothings into my ear

But life goes on

Birds fly strong

There is a time

That you must be gone

But as for now

You are with me

And our hearts will beat

In unity

There are only two dreams I dream

One good, one bad

One happy, one sad

One present, one past

Those dreams are the only truth

They are one with you

The other without

If I lost you for good

I know I would

Without a doubt

scream and shout

Just remember my words so true

That without you

There never would BE

The way I talk, the way I walk

The way I think, the way I am

Plain old ME
