An unpredictable day

of course...natures way

with you on mind

everything will be alright

I know you can't wait

for our moment today

I know I'm gonna be late

I'm not the one to blame

streets are flooded

causing traffic jams

hey, you know how I am

everything will be fine

cause you know,

I'm always on time

Soon you begin to worry

as you read our son a story

I know that I can't wait

for our moment today

even though I might be late

blame these heavy rains

before long I'll be with you safe

I would rather be next to you

I know you are thinking

the same thing too

so you can blame this rain

because I'm not the one...to blame
