Sometimes I wish I could,
I wish I could grab that,
grab that light at night.
That illuminating morsel,
that extraordinary moon...
My hand reaches up as it should
really can't be that bad
besides, it's only light
The world will shortly bestow,
The misery will end soon...
With my index and thumb
I pick at it, then,
grasp the gumball
I am not dreaming far from home
a closed hand I open it again
what to do with a lit ball...
swallowed by curiosity,
a cold freshness of powdered sugar...
Vanilla flavored saccharine...
Life can't be this rich and sweet,
If it is, let me know where we are,
I am seriously transgressing.
