Speak too many words
And you'll be sure to slip
So choose your words carefully
Or bite your lip
Do not be looking
up to wicked men
Or show yourself craving
to hang out with them
To Rob and to pillage
Is what they meditate
Their mouth is full of trouble
And their words with hate
So stay away from those
Who are easily angered
It could rub off on you
And put your life in danger
If your friends are often
In a fit of rage
You could find yourself
Ensnared in an angry cage
Make your foot rare
At the house of your friend
Or they could have enough
And hate you in the end
When a foolish one speaks
Do not reply
Or you'll look just like him
In some peoples eyes
Or you could answer the fool
If he speaks a lie
So he doesn't feel wise
And his arrogance rise
If your enemy tries
to trap you in your speech
An answer to his question
Might seem out of your reach
You could say "answer this question"
And I'll answer yours
Or simply keeping silent
Can be a powerful force
