Hardly there within his life
yet now that he's gone,
so quick, so sudden,
she finds it hard to carry on
With encounters they held,
a special chemistry, a bond, formed.
Though they both knew it,
nothing had ever came of it.
Then out of the blue,
everything changed.
His feelings had altered,
while her's stayed the same.
And when his feelings were gone,
all she could see,
was the death in his face,
and the nothingness in his eyes.
And now that he is gone
All I can feel,
Is the death in my face,
and the nothingness in my eyes.
For the death is his reflection,
and the nothingness is what he left to me.
