I want to know it is you I hear.
I want to smell your Spirit here
I want to hear your voice in me
I want to be kept free.
As the days go by so fast
I wait for all things to come to pass
I wait for you and listen within
Your words of love keep me safe
I long to be held by your warm embrace.
The pain in life can hurt my flesh
But your love sustains me here on earth
So I wait for you in this time of pain
To help me see all that is gained.
