dont you just wish

for the old times again

the days when you could laugh

not knowing it would ever end.

and dont you sometimes wish

for the friends you once had

to come back into your life

and you could no longer be sad.

do you ever wish

upon a star in the sky

that the people you once could trust

would have never of lied?

i sometimes wish

to be happy again

for the past to erase

and for a new start to begin.

i know you wish it too

i can see it in your smile

for when you now hug me

it doesnt seem worth the while.
