you were my companion

my only way out

whenever life had thrown me down

and the world was full of doubt.

you were my everything

from the first time we spoke online

i couldnt get over it

i wanted you to be forever mine.

you pulled me through

you helped me to transcend

now you are so different

and it all has to end.

its so sad we cant sustain

days are empty and filled with pain

hope has faded as with desire

leaving behind only flickers of the fire.

so when its finally over

all is said and done

i'll remember my heart warned me

and i'd wish it had won~
