ill never talk behind your back

or ditch you for a guy

id never stand u up like that

cuz im sure he'd make me cry.

but i know you'd never do that

your also way too smart.

you even warn me when im about to do something stupid

you were a great friend from the start.

id never just forget about you

like some of the others did

ill never lose contact with you

even when you have your first kid!

i wish i could help you

with your mom and all

theres nothing i can even do

but be your best friend and call.

call to see if your o.k

or need someone to talk to

ill be there as u were for me

just as ill be there for you.
