Where were you when I was about to fall off the edge

You weren't around, nowhere to be found

Yet here you are now my dear,

I'd like to say thank you for always being around

Don't take those words to heart because

You know just what I mean

Thanks for being the one to push me,

Today I find your existance to be tastelessly obscene.

You filled me up with false hope,

It was easy, candy like and sugary sweet,

But you're everything except for that

This time I refuse to lay down in defeat.

I'd sooner watch you drown in your own tears, and

That's putting it to you nicely as I can,

You can blame yourself

For never growing from a boy to a man.

You need a stupid girl to complete you

One who could never try to figure you out,

Too bad she wasn't me,

Too bad I know exactly just what you're about.

So thank you for showing me that side,

That you kept so magnificently hidden away,

Thank you for showing me your hollow chest,

Some things are better left that way.

Thank you for being fake,

And disappearing from my sight,

It helped me see from a whole new light,

And that's the least you could've done.
