You are all part of every inch of my being,

With you I’ve learned to become a warrior in life.



I discovered myself and learned that

It’s okay to speak about how I feel,

It’s okay to make mistakes,

To fall once, twice…to stand up and fall again.



You were there to laugh at me and pick me up

And tell me that I although I am stupid,

I am still beautiful.



With you I’ve learned how to express my fears,

To cry at tragically romantic movies.



To laugh out loud at anything under the sun,

And enjoy running through the rain.

To walk with my undies in the school dressing room,

And be confident of who I am no matter what.



To sing my heart out of an old love song,

To dance whatever and play volleyball,

And to jam at my guitar and enjoy rock and roll.



With you I became a stronger person,

Who will always remain a child within.



Good memories of watching horror films,

Pajama parties and staying up all night

Talking about the most wanted and unwanted boys in our life

Not to mention the emotional moments and pillow fights.



Simple things that made growing-up fun and memorable.
