This paper is dull and faded
A list of possibilities
The list is shorter
As you’ve shredded my name
Bittersweet is the emotion
But I think I can let it go
So don’t worry, I’ll be doing fine
We all have choices to make
We all choose what to leave behind
But I ain’t got any pretty words to make you change your mind
Now that you’re not around
Even the silence speaks
So I’ll listen to the silence and what it has to teach
So don’t worry, I’ll be doing fine
I know you struggled to try and make me a better person
But I'm too filled with my negative philosophies
The only dreams I had were the kind that died in the morning
So I’ll struggle with myself if its not too late
To sleep a little longer and dream of dreams
That last until the evening before they go to their graves
So don’t you worry, I’ll be doing fine
