Life is a ticking clock
With many surprises
Life is a bitch that waits for nobody
Yet it almost feels magical
When magic happens life fades away
All feelings,past,future,
Time seems to stand still
The stars twinkling in your eyes
The waves that's taken lives makes you feel alive
It runs to your feet and slowly retreats
As the unwinable war with time
You must slowly retreat
My footprints make impressions in the sand
But no one seems to care
It will disappear soon and it won't matter
Yet something as simple as water
Can make you feel unbeatable
Time can not touch you
Perhaps the secrete of life is in the waves
It washes all that it touches
If you end up chasing the waves
Time goes by with no footprints
For if you stand still for a moment
You can be truly happy
