I seek you, Lord Jesus,
As fear rules me like none other.
Let go they say to me,
Over and over again I hear.
Embedded deep inside a place unreachable,
Attached to my heart with glue.
Everyday I chip away at it,
Some has come down-not all.
I feel you and hear you,
But roam relentlessly while chipping away.
The more I chip away the more it builds,
I know no one understands and I feel alone.
Praying daily and awaiting comfort,
For feeling alone is a fear.
I will continue to seek you,
Even after my heart no longer beats.
Spend my life looking for your love.
I hold fast to my beliefs,
And love for you almighty.
