What do you see when you look into the mirror, eyes opened wide
Looking at your paper thin skin stretched over bone,
Watching your body slowly turn against you,
Watching your life disappear.
Do you feel sickened and disgusted by what is there?
Do you even see the real you?
[Look closely as there is not much to see at all]
Do you see all the pain within yourself,
The pain that all this time you mistaken for pride.
All this time you’ve tried and tried to become someone else,
But you’ve became the one person who you’ve always hated by doing this.
[Will it ever stop?]
Now tell me what you see when you gaze at yourself,
Elegant.Beautiful.Perfect?
Fat.Disgusting.Useless!
What you really see is a young girl begging to be excepted into the world,
A girl that once had the one thing that kept her sane,
The girl that was used and abused by everyone she loved.
This girl couldn’t see beauty in herself,
[Who can love a beast?]
She made herself a new person, she made her out of plasticine.
She was dead inside but painted so pretty and pristine on the outside,
That no-one noticed her,
She was new, she was beautiful,
She was finally perfect to the worlds eyes.
