Growing up in a country
The Third Reich's influence blunt
Being just a small child
My parents recieve the brunt
With the invasion of Poland
Another World War begins
We're thrust into ghettos
Segregated from family and friends
So young and so innocent
I know not what they'll do
Mom tells me not to worry
And whispers 'I love you'
She holds me tight and close
Whith tears in each eye
Our last breaths are taken
As Einsatzgruppen comes by
Why is this happening?
I fall broken to the floor
Nobody is saving us
So the Nazis just kill more
Tears of pain with no air
There's a burning in my chest
With my final dying breath
I pray for all the rest
