I try to forget

The mean things they say

But try as I might

They won't go away



I try to ignore it

I really do try

But as it gets worse

I just wanna cry



They point their fingers

And they laugh at me

Why won't they go away

And just leave me be



They wouldn't judge me

If they only knew

How hard it is

To do what I do



They don't understand

They don't know why

But I know they would

If only they'd try
