I only have this chance

To leave a lasting memory

Soon I'll be gone forever

Hoping you won't forget me

I'll give you this poem

As token of my appreciation

For giving me a great summer

Full of playful sensation

Even though we got yelled at

I'd do it again the same

Both trying not to get caught

Like playing the hide and seek game

I loved waking you up

And being the first you see

Whispering in your ear

Then getting you to kiss me

Yelling out my window

'Cuz you were way out there

Getting kicked out of the car

Then fighting over the chair

Though my 'elders' were paranoid

And grandpa threw a fit

Just getting to meet you

Made this trip well worth it
