Midnight blues
Chasing down the black caboose
Laying down in the hole
The dark veil covering up
Laying low, lost and lonely
So many layers underneath
Piling up swallowing you up
Choking out the life turning out the light
Sleep surrender, drift away
Words not heard hurt and pain taken over
Confused guilty pain
Know its wrong covering up whats inside
Heart breaking being torn in two
Blues leaking out into the darkness of the moon
Soul gut wrenching cries bubbling up from inside
Lifting up then tearing down
The hurt and pain come crashing down
The inner self being blown away like particles of dust
The love is there but comes with conditions
Depending on the situations
