The Pledge of Brotherhood

Folder:
Admiration

As you sit before me you are helpless,

I am lost and I know not what to do.

You are crying for someone to catch you, for you are falling, and yet I am helpless

Lost in the discerenity of what to do,

For we are far to close for me to let you

Drown, yet is my strength alone enough

To support the heaviness of your request.

The heaviness of your well issued challenge.

It is a noble request, one that requires much more

Courage to make than to accept.

So if in this conquest, this battle from with in, you are able to be strong, I will be the foundation upon which you muster your troops and prepare them for battle.

If you are ready to fight the war, I as your brother will gladly take the

Front lines aside you, for you are my brother.

And as the fields of this battle run red with blood

Of difficulty, and at times impossibility, even if u turn weak,

I will remain strong because it is my oath my pledge to the ideal of friendship, of kinship

Of family. And as my brother that is indeed what you are

Declared, family so therefore the blood that paints this war is

Mine as well as your because a family?s bloodline coincide, and thus we are

Intermingled, as kin as brothers.

So to you I offer this,

My hand in this time of self exile which you unknowingly place yourself into.

I will be the raft to which the drowning man holds onto

So tightly

And in a lifeless grip you will hold on,

Because I cannot sink in my endeavors to grant

You this request. One that a requires a trust developed only with in brothers.

So thus my claim of brotherhood amongst us must be true, because

I trust you wit my life, I will one day more than likely put it in your hands,

So now after promising to grant your request, after placing my acceptance

Upon my word I ask you, put the trust of brotherhood, in me.

And I will not let down.

Because a true brother

Is one that persists,

A true brother is one

That does not ever falter,

A true bother is one who

Achieves his task,

Or dies trying.

We are bothers

And a brother?s blood runs deep,

And thus we will win this war

Side by side, tear for tear, victory for victory,

And thus we will be victorious.
