Distance kept between the world,
I weep Heart's bitter blood.
Knowing it was all for naught
and all for pain that night
I gazed into Soul's core.
Deep and Dark and Dead,
It dampened Spirit's call,
And suddenly enlightened,
Life left me in it's thrall.
Now passing by in silence,
Distance makes me weak,
But silence seemed small price to pay,
For independence as I weep.
Now I want no time alone,
To think upon myself.
I want people there beside me,
For now the silence seems too deep.
