i flow

with the gentle tears of my rain

for i sensed

the message  

you wanted to convey

i listened

intently to the cold silence

faintly echoed in your heartbeat

which used to thunder

so ravenously

for me,

deep is this pain

it paints emptiness

upon my bones

and i melted

at the quiet intensity

of this revelation,

with a resonant ache

like the pounding of a storm

my soul leaks out,

i bleed

with reminiscence,

you remain in me

for i love you enough

i let you go

for i love you too much,

the spear of fate pierced thru my night

and then i knew my heart’s end

for i will always live

in our moment’s eternity,

inhaling you as my death

succumbing to the void

as i draw you

with each breath.
