I have known love

in the simplest things that life has showered,

Blessings which perfumed each day

like petals of a most exotic flower in June,

Rare and precious is every moment with you,

more priceless than the riches of the earth,

And my treasure box of dreams is as colorful

as a queen's collection of jewels,

But I am envied, for mine is more treasured.



I have known love

in the tender words of a beloved angel,

whose sweetest voice sings to me in my sleep,

With each whisper, my scars are wiped away

in the most gentle of caresses that touch me deep,

The sweet flow of phrases give me serenity far more

than the feel of golden wine upon the tongue,

and as I rest my tired soul each night,

it's not Morpheus who welcomes me

but words of love in a cascading waterfall.



I have known love

in this infinite silence that surrounds me,

for as I lie down and listen to this heart,

I hear ocean waves crashing upon the rocky earth,

The whispered longing in the salty breeze

reflects the same in these falling tears

and I find myself tremble,

but with this wildy flowing beat, I am at peace

for I always hear its distant echo.



Love, simple and true

The ageless mystery that binds two souls together,

You've made me feel your presence and embraced this heart,

It is coursing through me now,

Makes me break in thousand little deaths,

Warm and calm, and I surrender

And through the winds, I sensed the missing part

of my broken being that makes me whole.

Today and everyday, I have felt love in my heart

where only dreams of you are etched

Each time and everytime, as I close my eyes

I find myself with you and I find love.
